So many delicious looking items. We got the fruit tart and an eclair. Both were exactly what you imagine when you dream of these. The tar had fresh and juicy fruit with just enough custard to keep the pieces of fruit together. The eclair was a soft baked roll filled with a heavy sweet cream.

We rode the Harley out from Reno 2 meet sum friends 4 a lunch. Great food, nice atmosphere the only thing was the service kinda messed up the wife's order n then it took awhile. But the food is worth the wait. Waitress was very friendly n polite bout it. Recommended.

The Schat's family opened their first bakery in Utrecht Holland in 1890. The experience is evident in all their baked products, no matter which location or family member runs it. While they offer sandwiches and coffee, the baked goods are what really sets Schat's a notch above the average. Their scones and treats are my favorite, but the bread is so superior to anything you can find in a grocery store.

Phenomenal selection of baked goods. Great select of reasonably priced sandwiches with fries in the 15.00 range. Personal favorite is the Nevada Tritip. Highly recommend Paul Schat's for lunch, snack, or great coffee. Convenient walk to State government offices across Stewart St in Carson City.

I've been on the road over a month now visiting bakeries every morning. Paul's bakery is by far the nicest one I've been to in a long long time. Huge variety of breads, pastries and cookies. Very welcoming interior, fast and efficient help... And a really good cinnamon roll... He named San Francisco!!

I can't say enough good things about Paul Schats bakery! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with the most incredible aroma of fresh-baked goods and the warmest, most welcoming staff. The service here is truly top-notch—everyone is friendly, helpful, and genuinely happy to see you. But the food... oh, the food! Everything I've tried has been exceptional. Their pastries are flaky and delicious, and the coffee is perfect every time. The real star of the show, however, is the bread. It is, without a doubt, the best bread I’ve had in a long time. The crust is perfectly crunchy, the interior is soft and airy, and you can tell it’s made with care and high-quality ingredients. I highly recommend taking a loaf (or two!) home with you. If you’re looking for fantastic food, incredible bread, and service that makes you feel like family, look no further than Paul Schats bakery. This is my new go-to spot!
